This writer does a terrific job in building suspense and weaving an engaging, easy, quick read. His ability to evoke the scene and action is as well-honed as any craftsman. With the exception of one flaw, I would rate this five stars

His lack of confidence, or an entrepreneur's thinking process convinced him to issue short books that end with cliffhangers. A writer with this person's talent need not depend on tricks.

Kept me glued to the book turning pages as fast as I could! The thing that was disappointing was poor grammatical sentences & poor spelling but loved the story!

Anna is a very strong character and is determined to save the little girls from the child abductor. Cain is a very disturbed individual yet very cunning. Will keep you up throughout the might. On to the third installment in the series. Hopefully Keisha is found and all questions answered!
I love the style of writing this author has. I loved reading this book as much as I did the first book. If I have one complaint it is only that I feel forced to buy the next book ... In order to reach the final conclusion ... But truly it is worth it. So I do recommend this story to everyone who loves a good thriller!
Anna is a great character...a strong, intelligent and yet damaged PI. I thought the story was (although troubling) exciting and non-stop action. However I felt it was lacking at the end...ended too abruptly! I guess it is meant to be a cliffhanger...it just feels like they forgot to finish it!
An awesome read... Had me tellingly foot anxiously... Few places were totally nerve racking... I can't wait for the next installment.
Both Kidnapped The Beginning book 0 and Kidnapped Absent Ballad book 1 were spellbinding. I could not put them down until I had completed both books. Cannot wait for the next kidnapped book. Both books leave you with wanting more
